The Dharana Method of meditation is based on the principle of dharana, or focus, which is one of the 8 Limbs of Yoga. In each class, you will learn a different point of focus to use in meditation, that anchors you amidst your swirling thoughts and emotions. This method makes sitting in silence bearable, and even enjoyable! Some points of focus we use are breath, mantra, walking, sound and more. You will leave with tools for coping with stress and improving your life. Beginners welcome!
